[AUSTRALIA] Francis Carroll Scholarship: The Australian Catholic University Canberra Campus
The Francis Carroll Scholarship was established by public appeal in 2006 to honour Father Francis Carroll's contribution to the Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn on the occasion of his retirement as Archbishop. The scholarship is designed to assist students from rural and regional areas within the Archdiocese of Canberra/Goulburn or the Diocese of Wagga Wagga in their first year at ACU National, Canberra.
Eligibility
Students must be enrolled for their first year at Canberra Campus and whose permanent residence must be in a rural or regional area within the Archdiocese of Canberra/Goulburn or the Diocese of Wagga Wagga.
Must be Australian Citizens or have Australian Residency status.
Value $2,500
Selection Criteria
* Academic merit (based on UAI score or entry rank)
* Evidence of community service
* Evidence of financial need
* Referee report from school Principal
